Rainbow

SEALing a brighter future

SEAL is a national strategy that can be used for all children from pre-school to Primary School.

The ‘Rainbow’ pack was designed by Dorset County as a means to promote, deliver and integrate SEAL (Social, Emotional Aspects of Learning) and RRS (Rights Respect and Responsibility).

Little Gryphons uses the 5 Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning throughout daily life within the nursery to support  the children in the following:  Manage Feelings, Self-Awareness, Social Skills, Motivation and Empathy.

The 7 Rainbow Themes are integral to the nursery planning schedule through Medium and Long Term Plans whereby the children’s interests are supported and extended through New Beginnings, Getting on and falling out, Saying No to Bullying, Going for goals, Good to be me, Relationships and Changes.
